My intention is not to focus on death, but to help my clients cross the threshold of their heart and see life.’
As an undergraduate studying industrial design in China, Jennifer was always interested in funeral design. When she went to the United States for an exchange programme during her undergraduate studies, she found that American cemeteries were not a place of death and mourning, but on the contrary had the power to heal the soul. She saw the beautiful seaside forest cemetery parks, the beautiful forests and gardens where pets and their owners could be buried together, and even the custom-made children’s headstones carved with a variety of images, as well as the small mailboxes next to the graves to pass on her thoughts. ……
Her experience in the United States has taught Jennifer that a good funeral design may be a powerful comfort to the living.
“Funeral is a human ritual for facing death. I don’t want people to think that a pet funeral can be done hastily or without any importance, because it may become a knot in the heart. It can be prepared, it can help release emotions, it can heal you. I hope my designs can do that.”
